In 1995, an earthquake brought down and destroyed the original crown and badly damaged the main tower of our Parish. The actual crown is a fiberglass replica that must be replaced.

People convinced of the benefits brought to the population by restoring and preserving the buildings, monuments and places that represent Puerto Vallarta. We believe that on this we depend to maintain an excellent image of our town, wich, with national and international projection will produce great economic bonanza to improve the quality of life of our town.

Being a Civil association and because of our goals, the IRS has granted us authorization to give Tax Deductible Receipts for residents of Mexico.

The promotion of culture, particulary the fine arts related to the conservation, repair, maintenance, a enhancement and remodeling of Puerto Vallarta´s Landmarks. All this for the cultural and economic benefit of the community and to give a better impression and image to all our tourist friends.

Of all the landmarks of our town, the parish of our Lady of Guadalupe stands out. Founded on the 15th of April of 1883, it is a folk artistic expression that symbolizes the authentic urban skyline of Puerto Vallarta. With a mountain town style and built by foremen, masons and craftsmen, directed by a sucession of priests, achieving plastic and religious values in accordance with the conception of the Vallartans of those days.
